Vimala Raghavendran leads the USP Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Center and the product development of the Medicine Supply Map. The Medicine Supply Map is a data asset that generates insights that identify, characterize and quantify risk in the upstream pharmaceutical supply chain center so that stakeholders can act to protect patient access to quality medicine.
Vimala has been with USP for several years, in roles leading enterprise strategy, analytics and monitoring and evaluation. Prior to USP, Vimala worked as a strategy consultant with payors, providers, PBMs and pharmaceutical companies at McKinsey and Co., as well as in market research and business development at the non-profit drug development company, the International Partnership for Microbicides. She has an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from Knox College.
