Anne Bell is Senior Media Relations Manager in USP’s Global External Affairs and is responsible for raising awareness of USP’s work advancing the quality of medicines and food in the US and globally among media outlets and influencers both in the US and abroad.
Anne joined USP in 2014 and brings almost 20-years’ experience in media relations for national media outlets. Prior to USP, Anne Bell worked at MacNeil/Lehrer Productions (MLP) where she was public relations manager for the PBS NewsHour, the nation’s most trusted and credible national television news program. During her 12 years at MLP, she also worked as Associate Producer for a pioneering civic engagement project called By the People. Anne’s experience in media relations includes positions at Reuters and United Press International. She has also worked as a freelance journalist in the US and Europe for both radio and print outlets. A graduate of Duke University, Anne has a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies focused on global health. Anne is currently pursuing a Masters of Public Health with a concentration in public health communications and marketing at George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and will graduate in 2019.
